Using FIS Banner’s Messaging System

GUAMESG

The FIS Banner Messaging System automatically communicates the status of documents to users of the system.

1. When you log in to FIS Banner, if you have any messages, a green check mark will appear next to "Check Banner Messages" in the "My Links" section of the General Menu.
   
   
   

Click on the link to view your messages. The system will jump to GUAMESG General Message Form and display your message(s).

2. After viewing your message(s), type [shift F6] Delete Record from the record you wish to delete. You must also save before you exit for the messages to be completely deleted. Right-click anywhere on the window and select "Save", key F10, click on the Save toolbar icon or go Menu: File and select "Save".
