The Banner Financial Information System (FIS Banner) is the financial data management and reporting system used at UCSC. This Training Manual provides detailed information for faculty and staff who use FIS Banner version 7.

Navigating This Web Site

Each page of the UCSC FIS Training Manual includes links to the Table of Contents, Index and Home at both the top and the bottom of the pages.

Links to FIS Home will bring you to the FIS Web Site, for information about training sessions, system updates, and more.

Links for Previous and Next facilitate reading through the manual sequentially, as you would a hard copy text. Previous takes you to the item in the Table of Contents just before the one you are currently viewing. Next takes you to the next item in the Table of Contents.

The “Top” links provide an easy way to return to the top of the page you are currently viewing.

Dates

The “Content rev.” date provided at the bottom of each page is the date the content of the page was last changed.

The “Page modified” date is the last changed date for the online page you are viewing. This date reflects link and formatting changes, as well as content revisions.
